You,
Teach me to quietly wait on Your word oh Lord. Teach me to wait to hear from You before acting. This world moves so fast and I worry that every moment I am not moving with it is another moment I am being left behind. Remind me that Your time supersedes our perception of time. Help me to understand that when You say wait You do not mean stagnate. Help me to be content in my post and be ready when You come calling again.
Help me to hear You in truth and in spirit. Do not let my impatience, fear, worries, questions, or doubts cloud my listening. I do not need to go looking for You; You are always here. I do not need to solve anything; You are always the answer. Humble me before You and let me follow where You lead. Build me up Lord to be ready to do Your will.
In this time of quiet, help me reflect without judgement, learn without fear, seek without doubt. Help me to put You first in all things. Teach me Your ways. Remind me of who I am in You. Grow this mustard seed and expand my faith. In Jesus name. Amen.
