What a journey you are on. A divine purpose has been laid out before you and you have been called to discover it. It can be a terribly daunting time, confusing too.
Take comfort in the fact that if you follow the path laid before you, you cannot go wrong. The trials in your journey are mere pitstops. Where you are going is certain, no one can knock you off that path unless you give in to them.
This is not according to any ability you have of course. By yourself, you are both unwilling and unable to accomplish the tasks set before you, big or small. Think of Jonah, running away from what he was required to do, unwittingly putting the salvation of an entire community on the line in the process. Think of Samuel, unaware of who he was even speaking to without the direction of Eli. Left to our devices we are obstinate and directionless. But greater is He that is within us, who remains by our side through the entirety of our lives, our God and our guide.
Take comfort in the fact that you are never alone, that the task ahead is not just your burden to bear, that whatever obstacles you encounter will fall at the sight of one much greater.
