“Open.”

We learn as we grow that it is harder to be open. It is not just open about one thing but open about everything and finally, open about anything at all. You get hit by the expectations of others, which they call and frame as love, and their deep disappointment with the peculiar way you breathe.

This is not all though. We are not open because of shame. We know we are not living up to our own expectations or what we know of the light. We are not all we thought we would be at the start of our sacred pilgrimage. We have it wrong though. It is by being open that we can truly heal. We must start to learn again, how we can be truly open to God.
