We will all stand before God someday. All our lives will converge before Him eventually. That’s where everybody is headed. When that day comes, being in close proximity to righteous living will not be enough. Knowing of Him will not be enough. Having a general understanding or sense of what He is about will not be enough. If only it could be.
The Truth has long revealed Himself to us, that we may find a path back home to our Father. It requires very little work on our part; turn to the light and be saved. This is a decision you can only come to on your own. Everything you need to make your choice has been freely offered to you. All you must do is choose.
Perfection is not the requirement, as we are so often told. Perfection is not possible for us in this flesh. But presenting yourself to be purified by the Spirit is possible. Being made whole is real and very possible. Coming home of your own volition and accepting the Truth is very possible. The transformative force to be found there in is real and true.
Since the hardest part has been done for us, death can no longer lay claim over our souls and to leave this world is merely to be freed from the burdens of sin. So while we are here, we must daily choose this path of freedom for ourselves, until we are called home.
