Father,
We are Your people and You are our God. Thank You for Your everlasting presence in our lives. Thank You for coming restoration and present comfort.
We ask for Your continued mercy over this nation. We ask that the sins of the father not be revisited upon the son but that the mouth that licks the lime be the mouth that puckers. We ask for redemption and salvation. We ask for Your forgiveness, for every sin we commit – even against one another – is a sin against You. Have mercy on us oh Lord. Give us the grace to be as merciful to others as You daily are to us.
We ask that You continue to provide for us, in sustenance, in safety, in grace, in protection, in everything we need to thrive as Your beloved children. Help us to continue to faithfully follow Your path as You have designed it for us, oh author of time. Help us not to be led astray by the many distractions of this world but to hold fast to Your word always.
We put our lives in Your hands oh Lord, take us under Your wing. Do with us what You alone see fit. We can never go wrong in complete surrender to You our God. You are God, let Your name be glorified in this nation. Your way not ours oh Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.
