Logia Books is an online publishing company that is based in Nigeria and open to writers across the world and from all backgrounds. At present, all our books will be published as e-books to be purchased and read on our website. However, we have plans to publish as audio books and audio-visual experiences in the future. We currently accept manuscripts on a rolling basis.
Submitting your manuscript to Logia Books is simple enough but here are some key considerations to remember before you submit:
- We currently only accept submissions in English. We appreciate that some things are better expressed in a different language, but submissions to Logia Books have to be at least 95% English. We do not currently accept translations.
- All manuscripts must be submitted as a PDF document in Times New Roman font size 12 1.5 spacing.
- All manuscripts must include a cover page stating your full name or pen name, email, the name and genre of your manuscript, and a 500-word summary of the full manuscript.
- For long form submissions (novels and novellas) We ask that you submit a short chapter or 1,000 words as an excerpt of your manuscript as well as all the previously stated details (see point 3). This way we get a sense of your work immediately and can take it from there.
- Individual short from pieces (short story, poetry, and flash fiction) can only be submitted if there is a call. See our call for short stories here.
- If you have a collection of your short form pieces, please send us one of them as an excerpt as well as all the previously stated details (see point 3).
- We do not currently accept nonfiction manuscripts.
- All submissions are made through the form on our contact page. Submissions made through any other channels will not be considered. We will respond to each submission via email to let you know we have received it. If you do not receive an email 7 business days after submission, please resend your manuscript as we may have missed it. Otherwise please only submit each manuscript once.
