The more that the divine takes precedence over all that there is of this present world in your mind, the more free you become.

It is the realisation that who you are according to God is the only truth. Everything else you think you know, everything you have ever been told about who you are and who you ought to be is several figments of imagination held together by the false reality of this temporary world. The eternal is the truth. The divine is the truth. God is the truth.

The first shall be the last. The world tells you how great you are but when the scales fall from your eyes the truth is that in the vast expanse of the world you are but a speck floating in space and time. And the last shall be the first. The world tells you you are nothing. Then God picks you up and fills you with love and you realise you are one of His children and nothing compares to that simple fact. Both things are true. Our place in the universe and our place in the Father’s heart.

You continue to subvert the expectations of everyone around you because what they see and know of you is so wildly different from the truth. Your freedom comes from knowing that nothing here, in this small world, for this short time can stand the light of the eternal truth.
