So, we can look at time and effort through different lenses. It does not negate that good or great work happens on earth. I do not even mean that all aspiration is bad and inertia plus futility are the angels of the day. It is only to put perspective to what truly matters. We are here for much more than those five minutes of prophecy and fame.

We should want the full meal. A taste is not enough. We should want our souls of fire. The trickle down of pleasure from onery sources is not nearly enough. We want the whole cake. We want the meaning of all life. We want to feel everything. We do not deny pleasure. We want pleasure and the true meaning behind it. Much more not less.
