H,
There is always that line where confessing to another person becomes indulgent, unburdening, and unfair to the listener. No one is here to be container for our troubles. Friendship is not a place to find the ultimate detachment from dealing with your inner turmoil. You are you and the people you love are themselves. No one is perfect, no one is right or wrong, no one is evil, and, at best, all are looking for the light with the same precedent disadvantages.
This does not mean we are to stay away from each other and only talk about things that work. We talk, we do not dump our issues on each other. We carry burdens together knowing none of us is the ultimate helper of fates. We are all on the same road to becoming our eternal selves. Grace is not just something from above. It is also something we must give to each other.
