3,

Not to be reductive – as I am sure experience has by now revealed that success is a wily creature not to be easily tamed – but the secret to your success in the task at hand is to forgo the expectation of doing this alone.

Yes you have a logical awareness that this is not a one person job, and that’s a good start. You’ve also taken some time to consider a few other people you deem ideal to include, and that is even better. But that part of the work is not done and will never be. It cannot be an exclusive club with a small select group of people. It must instead be a meeting where all are welcome.

The way that you achieve the success that I desire for you is through your unity. When everybody can take some responsibility and bear some part in what is to come, then the real change will begin. Whether they are rebuilding within themselves, or in their communities, or travelling all over to do the work, the bottom line is their involvement and your togetherness.

It is a sad time where the world has abandoned the strength and joy that community brings for their own individual desires. A great deal of it comes from fear. Some of it is plain selfishness. But no matter the cause, the cost has become too much. Now is the time to do away with the self for the betterment of the whole. Now is the time to come out into the open so that the healing may begin.
